Fans continue to "vote" with their dollars

Goal

Introduce cheese steaks despite uncertainty of appeal to the California market.

Summary

Based on a partner request to revise concession menus, we surveyed fans at the end of the season about what was missing from the menu. The number one option among the top three was cheese steaks. While the team was skeptical of the appeal of this item in California we decided to take the idea to the next level and created a demonstration cooking stand where fans can see the chefs preparing each order. It turns out the fans loved the fresh-from-the-grill cooking style. Sales are up, and the fan feedback is overwhelmingly positive.

Result

As a result of the stand, we have seen an increase in sales over the prior year as fans have continued to “vote” with their dollars and positive feedback.
